Foundational Planning
After we have had an initial consultation, we’ll have a discovery meeting where we dig a little deeper and understand each other before deciding to work together, we launch into Foundational Planning. This is the first phase in our financial planning process. During this time, we’ll meet for a series of structured meetings to develop your financial plan. At the end of this process, you will receive a written financial plan that is based on the information you have provided, the goals we have discussed, and the learnings and decisions we have made over the course of the Foundational Planning process.
Our approach to financial planning is holistic, focusing on aligning your personal financial objectives with your personal goals. We believe that financial planning goes beyond investments; it’s about creating a thoughtful path to achieve, grow, and protect your financial freedom, enabling you to accomplish your life goals.
Prior to our first Foundational Planning meeting, we’ll ask you to provide various information and documents so that we can do our best work–which requires good information from the start. No garbage in, garbage out! In our first meeting, we’ll discuss and assess your current financial situation and goals.
The number of additional meetings in the Foundational Planning process will vary based on your specific needs. It is likely that we will have 3-5 meetings, and the process will take 2-3 months to complete. After you complete the Foundational Planning process, you will have the option to become a Sustaining Planning client.
