Paul Williams is the founder and Principal of Dominion Financial Advisors, LLC.

With a lifetime of his own personal finance experience, Paul understands the importance of good financial planning and management for all people, regardless of career or life stage. His work is grounded in stewardship, clarity, and helping people take ownership of their financial lives — not by taking over, but by designing the engine that supports the life they want. And he understands the needs of real estate professionals particularly well.

Paul gained his Texas real estate license in 2003. He has worked as real estate broker, a consultant, and corporate real estate rep. His real estate career culminated as Vice President of Real Estate for Marco’s Pizza, a 1,200-unit pizza franchisor. Prior to that, most of Paul’s real estate work was in the restaurant industry, achieving progressive roles at Whataburger, Dunkin’ Brands, Jack in the Box, and Jersey Mike’s Subs. Paul spent the first six years of his career in corporate finance with Nortel Networks, a pioneer in the telecommunications industry.

With his 20+ years of experience in real estate, Paul understands the financial challenges and opportunities that commercial real estate brokers, corporate real estate reps, and landlord reps face.

Paul holds an MBA from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, and a BA in political science and economics (magna cum laude) from American University in Washington, DC. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.

He is a member of the Financial Planning Association, the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors, and the XY Planning Network. He holds a Series 65 license.

Paul and his wife, Joanne, have been married since 2000. They have a son who is currently attending college. They live in northeast Dallas and are active members and leaders at St. James Episcopal Church.
